As much, or even more, as I love to win playing golf or doing any kind of competition, I hate to loose. This Saturday I managed to lure Snippen to “Finland” like a fisherman would lure a salmon out from his hiding place.
We met at the airport, so to speak, or at least at the place where you can travel all over the world to play golf within seconds. At Soon Golfbane where they have two simulators. After getting some “great” advice on where to travel and where to play, we ended up on Kaakon Golfcourse in Finland. I have a feeling the guy that suggested it was laughing his whole drive home.
After playing some great and some decent golf the frist 9 we relized that this was a 9-hole course, great … when you want to play 18. Anyway, Snippen played great and beat fair, square and by 9 strokes. His 78 on the par 70 course was good. I managed to hit a rock (see pic above) and some threes and ended in the water twice ….
His green contribution towards some refreshment on the round made this a loss with a good taste. Also it was a little constellation that I won Happy with ease …. 211 meters straight down the fairway was no less that RUFF.
