This year will be the first ever season long event with the intention of crowning the Matchplay Champion of RFGS. The event will start as soon as the last ball is kicked in the Final on the Footy version of the same event.

Format
The Format of matchplay can be 9 or 18 holes. The normal RFGS rules applies. That means if you both agree to putt naked, or drive from your knees, that is perfectly acceptable. If you want to give the match to the best golfer, you can stick to strokes, if you want to keep it closer do the horse-shit … they do fit in a stable, Ford. The vital thing here is that you both agree and that it is decided before the match starts.
Where
The matches can be played anywhere when we are at the group stages and quaterfinals. Again, this is all up to the contenders to agree upon. The Final will definitely be played at one given destination, and possibly the same for the semi-finals and quarter-finals.
Rules
For a match to be counted, it has be announced prior to played, so that any keen fans can join the group as spectators or fill the ball up with another match. (Posted on our facebook group)
For the match to be counted, it has to be made a small or big report of the match. Containing format, where it was played, the result and a few words about the match. (Posted on our facebook group or sent to me by email). At least one photo of the players, preferable together, if in a fight, that is all OK.
We give strokes based 3/4 hcp, if nothing else is agreed upon by both players.
The new golf rules applies, if there are doubts, call the Marshal
