When the Vikings are out on expeditions, they still compete. Second to the Green Jacket, Mjǫlnir, is the most prestigious and important trophy to take home. Being able to crown yourself as the one that grinds and crushes to dust (The meaning of the Norrøn name Mjǫlnir) is a great honour that is not easy to achieve. It takes hard work and delivery under pressure over several days. There are no warm-up rounds, there are no mistakes to be made. Every fucking stroke with the hammer counts. From day one.
The rules are simple. Your score from all the rounds on the tour counts. If you do not get up one morning you are given the same score as the worst one that round + 20 strokes.
Tour de Hammer 2020 consists of 5 rounds. Every round counts. Updates will be given at the end of each round. There are no handicaps. There are no excuses.
