Perfect record into vacation

With another win, this time against Johan at Evje Golfpark, Kairo takes vacation on top of group 1. Ludde and LandLord fought a close battle at Soon Golfcourse that ended with a Tie.

Kairo already had two points after great play against ShortSwing, but according to Kairo himself, that was no reason to be confident against Johan.

Kairo:
When you are up against a youthful winner of the Points and the Toppscorer for Slevik Innebandyklubb in the Eliteleauge in Norwegian Floorball 2017, there is no room to think it will be an easy match.

I dag møttes Johan og Kairo til CL-match på nøytral grunn, nærmere bestemt Evje Golfpark/ Moss og Rygge Golfklubb som forøvrig var i veldig god stand med meget raske greener.

They both agreed to play from the 61 tees with 2/3 hcp and the got nice company by a third player, Chris the Robot, which played from 64.

The first hole at Evje Golfpark, which was in excellent condition and had very fast greens, is a par 5 that both Johan and Kairo drove like they were both competing for the lead act in Fast and Furious. The driver would later prove to be the club that would be the decisive one.

Both players had a birdie putt at the first, but Kairo was the one who managed to sink his and get off to a flying start ….. again. He made the terms from the start. The next hole was even and Johan got one back, despite a drive that reminded a lot of a slice, or in best cases a heavy fade.

The match was even again, but at the fourth Johan was continued to slice and dice. This one ended up in the woods.

Kairo:
Evje is very nice to play when you hit the ball straight, but if you go long and crooked you will get into trouble.

Johan often got into trouble, either in rough thick as bricks or even worse, out of bounds, while Kairo stayed clear of penalties and obstacles.

At the 13th it was all over. Kairo went 6 up and with only 5 holes left, we can all do the math.

Chris the Robot tried all he could to teach us the golf rules and how to swing the clubs, so both players got good practice in anger management. And if the Robot had a misshit there was always an excuse.

Johan:
The best one was probably when his excuse was that he felt the grass in the backswing …. on the fairway …

As mentioned the other match this weekend ended in a tie after well fought and close battle. There should be a video coming from this as well, supposedly to teach us all how to get out of trouble in a water hazard.
