The atmosphere at the first hole at Oppegård Golf Club was electric on Wednesday. The sun was competing with the local rain showers, while The Launch and Donald was teeing off.
Donald splits the fairway and the follow up from The Launch, aka Slicy Mc Sliceface ended up far out in the woods. Probably knocked down a squirrel because the birdie opportunity was gone.
The game was on and Donald started 2 up after 2 holes. Deeper into the forest things get more even, split holes and so on. At the 7th Donald uses some dirty tricks from his days as a floorball player. He bounces it off the “board” 40 meter to the side of the green, onto the green for an easy tap-in birdie.
Slowly 4-iron of The Launch starts to wake up and they go all square, then Dormy at the 16th, for Launch to take it home.
Loose tie, good mood, great comments, laughter and gallows humor. Altogether an awesome day at the golf course where The Launch cashes in two more points in Champions League 2019
